This is a new author for me. The book was well written and hooked me from the beginning and kept my attention throughout the entire book. Ms. Carter showcased God's love and guidance in a real way, putting obstacles in her characters' path to overcome. Their lives were not easy and the characters experienced loses that many face in life. I consider this a good read and look forward to reading the next book in the series.
