Review of Nowhere To Turn by Lynette Eason

Lynette Eason has done it again!  I continue to be gripped by her stories and her descriptions make me feel as though I am in the story.  The characters are well written and developed, and characters from the previous book in this series make appereances. From the very first chapter I was sucked into the character's world, feeling the anxiety that she was feeling.  Mrs. Eason switched smoothly between points of view, and I could easily differentiate between the characters.  I had trouble putting it down and finished it in two days.  Though I was able to predict much of what was going to happen, there were a few surprises in the end. I would highly recommend this book to friends and family.  I love authors like Dee Henderson, Irene Hannon, Dani Pettrey, Christy Barritt, and Diann Mills and more, so if you enjoy those authors you will love this book.

Lorena McCourtney- Death Takes a Ride Review

This is the third, and I am assuming, final book in the Cate Kincaid series.  I personally hope that there are more adventures of Cate's to be written!  Though I had not read the previous book recently, Mrs. McCourtney does a fine job of reminding me of the characters and how they relate to one another.  Love the dynamics between Cate and her boyfriend, as well as between the two pets.  The author does a wonderful job of using her words to create vivid pictures in the mind of the reader.  I will be reading this book and the series a second time.  I wouldn't mind seeing another story with these characters either!

Review of Murder Simply Brewed

The book begins by going back and forth between two points of view- Amber, Hannah as well as the POV of another character, Tate.  It took me awhile to get used to the constant POV change, but once I did the story was captivating and a great combination of two different cultures.  Wonderful dynamics between the two main characters Amber and Hannah! The story has a nice flow to it and showcases both Amish and Englisher viewpoints.  I would recommend this book to my friends.

I have only read the first couple of chapters so far and I am still getting a grasp on all the characters so far. There are quite a few switches between characters.  I am enjoying the setting up of the mystery and will let you know how it turns out. :-)
